Most of his life had been hollow, but ever since the arrival of a strange, curious boy, he felt a new sense of life creeping into his old bones. Memories were resurfacing, bringing their bittersweet joys and stupid regrets all over again. He recounted his life story, feeling a new rush of hope. For the first time in decades, he was actually doing something. It was exhilarating, and a little exhausting.
As the rumble of Ted's cycle puttered off in the distance, he turned away from the boarded shutters once again, preparing for the next morning when he would finish his tale. He didn't notice the uncomfortably deep silence that soon followed it, the quiet shifting of.. something. Something had happened, something that wasn't supposed to. An odd meeting beyond the laws of time or logic was about to begin.]
[The fog fades just enough to reveal the decrepit Lurkum to it's newest visitor, though he'll be all too familiar with it and the man inside.]
